Companion of [[Paul]], from [[Asia]] (mentioned in [[Acts 20]]:4). Travelled with [[Paul]] to [[Jerusalem]] to deliver the collection. [[Paul]] described him as "a dear brother, a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord" in [[Colossians 4]]:7, giving him a threefold commendation. He was a very loyal and trusted co-worker of [[Paul]]. He served as the main letter carrier for [[Paul]]'s letter to the [[Colossians]], along with [[Onesimus]], and had the same role in [[Ephesians]] ([[Ephesians 6]]:21). Since [[Onesimus]] was with him, he was likely also the letter carrier for [[Philemon]], with all three letters being written by [[Paul]] at around the same time. Later, he was sent by [[Paul]] to Crete ([[Titus 3]]:12) and to Ephesus ([[2 Timothy 4]]:12).
