## v. 1-6: [[Joseph]] introduces his family to [[Pharaoh]]
- [[Joseph]] informs [[Pharaoh]] that his family have settled into [[Goshen]] from [[Canaan]]
- He takes five of his brothers and introduces them to [[Pharaoh]]
- [[Pharaoh]] encourages them to settle the “best region of the land,” and seeks any “highly capable men among them” to be put in charge of his livestock
## v. 7-12: [[Jacob]] blesses [[Pharaoh]] and settles in
